Forecast Roundup for November 19 snowfall

Welcome to PGH Snow Day’s first Forecast Roundup of the 2016-17 season! Every time a measurable snowfall is forecast for Western Pennsylvania, we will compile accumulation forecasts from several outlets in these roundup posts. We currently track forecasts from KDKA, WTAE, WPXI, The National Weather Service’s Pittsburgh Office, the NWS National Snowfall Model, AccuWeather, The Weather Channel, and Intellicast. Each forecast is archived here, and after the last flake falls we will return to the roundup to perform a Forecast Analysis. These analyses are factored in to each outlet’s Forecaster Ratings, and will be used to determine the most accurate forecaster one the winter is over.
