Forecast Roundup for December 13 snowfall

Late Wednesday afternoon an Alberta Clipper will descend on Western Pennsylvania and provide the first significant snowfall of the season. We are expecting that somewhere around 2″ of snow will fall in Pittsburgh between the afternoon commute and Thursday morning.

Be sure to check back on Friday, after the last flake has fallen and the official snowfall total is reported, for our Forecast Analysis, which will impact each outlet’s newly-updated Forecaster Rating.

Coming into this second snow of the season, our most trusted forecaster in the ratings is WTAE with 70.43% accuracy.

Editor’s note: KDKA’s second map comes from their evening 5pm newscast. They did not have a prediction map posted to their website by the time this article was posted.
